1 pound green beans
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 large fresh lemon
1 large clove of garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt, to taste
A few large pinches of pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Wash the green beans and snap the ends off. Put butter or avocado oil into a large pan on the stove and preheat to high heat. Add green beans.
- Squeeze lemon over top and season with salt, pepper, and fresh minced garlic. Sauté for about 5-10 minutes until partly browned on the outside.
- Reduce temperature to low, cover and cook until green beans are tender to your liking, 3-8 minutes.
