A little bit more about me

You may be wondering what led me to nutrition, so here’s a snippet of my story:

In college, I developed significant hormonal and digestive issues that shifted my perspective of how we eat and live. I developed PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and insulin resistance and I struggled with painful digestive distress and bloating. My persistent health struggles led me to research nutrition extensively. I became passionate about how holistic eating can transform us and I yearned for more information about how food affects our bodies and minds, so I took a leap of faith and enrolled in the Nutritional Therapy Association. It was one of the best decisions of my life! It opened my eyes to what being healthy really looks and feels like. Through years of research and healing, I am healthier than ever and continuing to improve daily. I am beyond thankful for the health issues I struggled with in college because they are what launched me on this path of seeking nourishment in every category of life.

Why I started a website

I believe that living a healthy and vibrant life is much less complicated than most of us are led to believe. That’s why I started a website: I want to simplify healthy living for you. I know what it’s like to be frustrated by all the false information going around, so I desire to help you find your answers and live the life you’ve always dreamed of.

Food photography

I also developed a love for food photography along the process and learned how to make healthy meals appear as nice as they taste. I hope you take a look at the recipes I post and I hope the photos make you drool!

All of the food images you see on the website are mine.
