If you’ve been following my website for a while, you may remember my Cherry Lime Popsicle recipe. It’s one of my favorite summer recipes I’ve made, and lots of you loved it too! So today I decided to post the smoothie version. I’ve made this quite a few times but never snapped a good photo of it, so I made sure to do that this last time I made it so that I could post it to my website! It’s crazy how many recipes I’ve made but haven’t posted due to not getting photos of them lol… it’s part of the game of a recipe website. But we’re finally here and I’m so excited to finally have this up on my website. This is the BEST smoothie, totally kid-approved, nutrient-dense, beyond flavorful, etc. You’re going to love it.
Nutritional benefits of this recipe
- Cherries are packed full of beneficial antioxidants and nutrients. They’re also delicious!
- Grass-fed yogurt and milk adds healthy protein and fat to the smoothie, making it a more balanced snack that’s satiating and blood sugar balancing.
- Maple syrup is a natural sweetener (from the sap of maple trees) so it’s healthy and also rich in antioxidants and minerals such as manganese, riboflavin, and copper.
Ingredients
Frozen dark sweet cherries (pitted)
Grass-fed plain yogurt – I used whole-milk for a more balanced meal.
Grass-fed milk
Lime juice + zest
Maple syrup
Vanilla extract
Almond extract
How to make a Cherry Lime Smoothie
- Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Modifications
- Omit the lime if you just want the cherry + vanilla + almond flavor.
- Omit the almond extract if you don’t like the flavor of it – you can replace with extra vanilla extract.
