Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing

Condiment, Gluten-Free, Nut-Free, Quick and Easy, Salads 4 comments

This creamy ranch dressing is delicious and has a nice little boost of protein compared to traditional ranch dressing. Using greek yogurt also makes the dressing lower calorie, which may be a plus depending on your preference! I love to use this dressing as dip for veggies or as a topping for salads and wraps. You can also use it on nourish bowls, pizza, wings, etc. Get creative and enjoy the options!

The ingredients

Greek yogurt – This one is an obvious for this recipe!

Sour cream – I like adding sour cream as well since it has such great flavor, but feel free to sub it for more greek yogurt.

Mayonnaise – This adds great depth to the flavor as well as extra creaminess.

Lemon juice – To add a little tangy flavor to the dressing.

Herbs – This recipe calls for chives, parsley, and dill for the classic ranch flavor.

Seasonings – We also add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt for extra flavor.

Milk – Add a touch of milk to thin the dressing to preference. Omit it if you want to use this recipe as a dip for veggies, but I recommend adding milk if you want to drizzle it over salads and bowls. You can use water in place of milk if desired.

Customize your dressing

  • Adjust the seasonings to preference – I personally am not a huge fan of dill, so I prefer to add the smaller amount, but if you love dill, then feel free to add to taste! The same goes for the other herbs and seasonings.
  • Add some honey for a touch of sweetness.
  • Sub buttermilk for the sour cream – If you want a more authentic ranch dressing taste, then feel free to use buttermilk in place of sour cream. You won’t need to add milk to this version since buttermilk is thinner than sour cream.

What to serve with ranch dressing

This ranch dressing is perfect paired with salads, nourish bowls, wraps, or even as dip for fresh veggies, pizza, etc. Here are some of my recipes that will go well with it:

Buffalo Chickpea Wraps

Quinoa Nourish Bowl

Italian Chicken Salad

I hope you love this ranch dressing! Be sure to leave a comment & a rating to let me know how you liked it.
