This Healthy Hot Mocha Latte is made with real ingredients rather than all the refined sugar and artificial syrups that are full of additives. I use the chocolate date syrup from Date Lady, which gives it the natural sweetness from dates and the richness of cacao. It blends perfectly with espresso and creamy grass-fed milk to make a classic hot mocha but with real ingredients! It’s simple, smooth, and delicious whether you enjoy it hot or iced. I love supporting great companies that prioritize real ingredients and ethical practices and Date Lady is one of them for sure. You can buy their products online or search for it at a local grocery stores as well.

Nutritional benefits of this Hot Mocha Latte
- Dates are fruit that come from the date palm tree that’s native to the Middle East. They are rich in antioxidants, fiber, vitamins, and minerals and are a fantastic natural sweetener.
- Seven Weeks Coffee is mold-free, mycotoxin-free, and free of pesticides and other contaminants. It’s my favorite healthy coffee brand because they also are a pro-life company!
- Grass-Fed Milk – A great source of protein, calcium, and healthy fats. Grass-fed also contains more omega-3s and vitamin K2 compared to conventional milk. I always recommend buying all dairy products as grass-fed because it not only is a more nutrient-dense product that’s better for you, but it’s also better for the cows, the farmers, and the environment.
How to use raw milk in hot lattes
I buy grass-fed raw milk from a local farmer and it is incredible! Although steaming raw milk gets rid of some of the benefits, it won’t get rid of all of them as long as you don’t steam it too hot:
I stop steaming mine at about 120-130ºF, which keeps most of its benefits (you won’t be able to make latte art with this, but I’m totally fine with that). Milk does not truly begin pasteurizing until 145ºF, although some of the enzymes, some beneficial bacteria, and some heat-sensitive vitamins start deteriorating at about 104ºF. For the entire full benefits of raw milk, then it’s best to opt for an iced latte instead, but you can still get most of the benefits of raw milk with gentle heat; 120-130ºF makes a nice hot coffee but without complete loss of benefits.

Ingredients for Healthy Hot Mocha Latte
Espresso – I love using mold-free, mycotoxin-free, and organic coffee beans for my coffee. I’ve used Purity Coffee for a while but I have recently tried Seven Weeks coffee because it’s a pro-life company and they help women through their pregnancies. It’s just as delicious as Purity Coffee, but I love that I get to simultaneously support a pro-life company with Seven Weeks. I used their espresso beans for this recipe, and I use the De’Longhi espresso machine.
Chocolate Date Syrup – I used this healthy syrup by Date Lady. It’s just dates, cacao, vanilla, water, and salt.
Milk – I recommend using grass-fed whole milk for optimal health benefits. And for supporting good farms! I love using whole, grass-fed milk for my lattes; it makes them rich and creamy and grass-fed milk a great source of protein, healthy fats, healthy carbohydrates, and calcium.
