Fresh mint is truly one of my favorite flavors, and it is so good when it’s paired with lime and a touch of raw honey. This Healthy Mojito Mocktail is one of those drinks that feels extra refreshing while still being made with simple, real ingredients. It’s light, bubbly, and perfect for warm afternoons, hosting friends, or anytime you want something fun without alcohol.
I also love that this mocktail doesn’t rely on alcohol alternatives, syrups, or artificial flavorings to make it taste good. Just real, natural ingredients! It has fresh mint, freshly squeezed lime juice, raw honey, and sparkling mineral water that all comes together to create something that’s flavorful, refreshing, and actually nourishing.
Mint does so much more than make a drink taste good! It supports digestion, helps relieve bloat, and encourages healthy bile flow for the liver and gallbladder. Fresh lime juice adds a boost of vitamin C and antioxidants while helping stimulate digestion and hydration, and raw honey brings just the right amount of gentle sweetness along with enzymes and natural compounds that support immune, gut, and respiratory health. This recipe has simple ingredients, big benefits, and it is honestly just so delicious. This mocktail is one you’ll want to keep on repeat!

Nutritional benefits of this recipe
- Fresh mint is incredible! It’s fantastic for digestive health, oral and respiratory health, cognitive function, and more. It relieves nausea, bloat, and gas and it stimulates saliva and bile flow which helps the liver and gallbladder. Mint also contains menthol, which has anti-inflammatory and decongestant properties. It reduces stress, anxiety, and foggy memory. Mint has so many benefits!
- Fresh lime juice supports health by providing vitamin C for immune defense and collagen production, antioxidants that help reduce oxidative stress, and natural acids that stimulate digestive enzymes and bile flow which help relieve bloat and support the liver and gallbladder. It also helps improve iron absorption and supports hydration.
- Raw honey is rich in enzymes, antioxidants, and natural compounds that support immune health and help the body fight oxidative stress. Raw honey soothes the digestive tract, supports beneficial gut bacteria, and has natural antimicrobial properties that aid wound healing and oral health. It also supports respiratory health, calms coughs and sore throats, and provides a gentle, nutrient-dense source of natural energy.
Ingredients for Healthy Mojito Mocktail
Fresh mint leaves – I used sweet mint.
Fresh lime juice – you definitely want to juice a fresh lime, not use packaged juice. The flavor is much better!
Sparkling water or club soda – I used San Pellegrino, which is a natural sparkling mineral water. If you like a lot of carbonation, then I recommend using regular sparkling water or club soda.
Honey – for a little sweetness. It’s optional, but takes it to another level!
Ice

How to make Healthy Mojito Mocktail
- Put mint into a small glass cup and gently mash with a muddler.
- Add lime juice and a little drizzle of honey and stir together.
- Fill the cup almost to the top with ice then top off with about 4-5 oz of sparkling water or club soda.
- Garnish with lime wedges.
Modifications and variations
- Get creative and add muddled fruit such as strawberries or raspberries. Strawberries are my favorite addition to this and I will definitely post a version in spring when they come in season!
- Use more or less honey for your sweetness preference. I use 1 teaspoon and I would say it’s subtly sweet.
- Adjust the amount of lime juice to preference.
- Adjust the fresh mint to your liking. I like to use 10-12 leaves and lightly muddle them to release their flavor and aroma but also keep them mostly whole. The more you muddle, the more flavor you’ll extract, but they’ll also disintegrate a little which may not be as pleasant to sip on.

Note about the water you use: Sparkling water is simply carbonated water with no added minerals, giving it a clean, crisp taste. Club soda (also known as soda water) is carbonated water with added minerals, which adds a bit more depth of flavor. Natural sparkling mineral water (like San Pellegrino) comes from mineral springs and contains naturally occurring minerals with gentle, natural carbonation, making it lighter and softer than sparkling water or club soda. Traditional mojitos use club soda.
