If you don’t like brussels sprouts, then try this recipe before you knock them. If you already love brussels sprouts, then try this recipe to love them even more! These Brussels sprouts are crispy yet tender, and the drizzle of honey adds the perfect amount of sweetness to mute the natural bitter taste of brussels sprouts.

My sister was the one to first introduce me into drizzling honey on brussels sprouts and I have been obsessed ever since! It makes them so delicious AND adds wonderful nutritional benefits. Honey is rich in antioxidants and helps fight environmental allergies. If you are looking to fight your local environmental allergies, then be sure to purchase locally sourced, raw honey.

Only 5 ingredients

Brussels sprouts – This one is an obvious for this recipe!

Olive oil – To coat the Brussels sprouts well to prevent them from drying out in the oven.

Spices – We’re using garlic powder and salt for this recipe to add some delicious flavor.

Honey – The absolute must to add the delicious and perfect sweetness to the Brussels sprouts.

Customize your brussels sprouts

  • Add your favorite spices and seasonings like chili powder & cayenne pepper for a kick of heat, balsamic, rosemary & thyme for an herby flavor, or cinnamon for added sweetness and warmth.
  • Add some chopped bacon for an even more savory flavor.
  • Toss in some extra veggies like carrots or onion. Just be sure to space everything out so that it cooks evenly.
