I’ve started uploading a monthly favorites post because I honestly love seeing what items other people have bought and loved. It’s such a great way to be sure that it’s a worthwhile item! These are currently the items I’m loving right now and I hope you love them too!
Walking pad
I’m telling you, having a walking pad has been life-changing for me. I was sitting and working on my computer for 8-12 hours a day and my health was paying for it. I did not like being so stagnant. It makes my back and neck hurt, it makes me tired and sluggish, and so on. I decided to buy a walking pad with a standing desk so that I would no longer have to sit every day all day and it is a complete game changer. I have so much more energy, no back pain, no neck pain, etc. I didn’t want to spend way too much money so I bought the most affordable one that I could find that still had amazing reviews. I’ve used it for over a month now and it’s still working perfectly!
Adjustable desk
This is the adjustable desk (it’s adjustable to be sitting or standing) I bought to go with my walking pad. I actually paid for it with a gift card from using the app “Merryfield” where I had accumulated points from grocery shopping. I’ve been wanting to make a video about the app because it’s amazing. The app is completely free and all you do is scan your grocery receipts and you earn points for certain brands. Those points eventually add up to buy a gift card! I redeemed some of my points to buy the standing desk. I’ve literally redeemed almost $200 worth of gift cards so far! Granted, my husband and I buy a lot of the brands that are on the app, so we add up points fast. If you use the code “YYYF3H” when you download the app, then you’ll receive 2,000 points on your first receipt!
Frames from Target
These frames are very affordable compared to others, yet they are so nice! We paired the frames with these prints and put them up in our dining area and I absolutely love the combination.
Floating Shelf
This floating shelf from Target is perfect for my guest bathroom. I love everything from Target, let’s be real…. Who doesn’t, right?!
Sconces
These sconces are such beauties!!! They’re super affordable too. I installed them in our living room last week and I can’t stop looking at them. I will need to make a post about my living room decor with some photos sometime soon. I’m working on a console table so I will make a post when that’s done!
Fun fact: The sconces are technically hardwired sconces, but I decided not to hardwire them because of the expense. However, instead of returning them and buying battery operated sconces (which are even more expensive than hardwired), I decided to just install the sconces I already had without actually hardwiring. So how do they actually work? Well, there are these battery operated puck lights that are remote controlled. All you do is screw it into the sconce like a regular light bulb but then you can turn them on with the remote. It’s amazing! My sister came up with the brilliant idea and I can’t thank her enough.
Vintage print
This print that I bought is so cute and has a vintage feel to it too! They have lots of options, but the options seems to change as they run out of stock / restock. I’m definitely buying more of them as they restock. I considered not posting it because the specific one I bought is out of stock (as of right now) but I just HAD to post it because I absolutely adore it. And they’ll be restocking it! I’m also obsessed with this one as well, it’s just too precious!
