Ingredients

1 large frozen banana

3/4 cup light coconut milk (canned)

1 Tbsp cacao powder

1 Tbsp pure maple syrup (or honey)

1 scoop collagen

Handful of ice

Optional additions: spinach, ground flaxseeds, hemp seeds, chia seeds, nut butter, and more.

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients together. Adjust milk and/or add ice to preference.
  2. You can adjust the cacao to your preference for how chocolatey you want the smoothie. You can also adjust the maple syrup (or honey) to sweeten it to your preference. I add protein powder or collagen for a boost of protein and to thicken the smoothie a little!
