This orange creamsicle seltzer is as refreshing as can be! The flavor combination of the orange with the vanilla extract creates that perfect creamsicle flavor. It’s naturally sweet and the bubbling seltzer water adds the perfect refreshing aspect. If you’re looking for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up that cools you down after some yard work, then this is it!
The ingredients
Seltzer water – this is to create the refreshing bubbly texture of the drink. You’re more than welcome to use regular water, but seltzer water is much yummier for this drink in my opinion! Also, I encourage you to make sure your seltzer water has been refrigerated so that it’s nice and cold.
Orange juice – the essential part of this recipe! Use pulp-free orange juice, and if you want to squeeze or own fresh orange juice, then that’s even better! Otherwise, store bought orange juice is perfect.
Vanilla extract – this helps create that “orange creamsicle” flavor which is so delicious.
Ice – helps cool the drink down and make it feel more refreshing and fancy!
Optional – you can add slices of fruit, but totally not required.
Tools needed
Pitcher or large mason jar – unless you divvy up the recipe evenly between two glass cups, this recipe will need to be mixed in a pitcher or large jar because it makes about 20 oz of drink, not including the ice. You can also cut the recipe in half to create just one cup!
