Whether you’re a seasoned matcha fan or new to the world of matcha lattes, this spiced matcha latte is definitely worth a try. It’s a delicious and cozy way to spice up your morning routine or enjoy a relaxing afternoon treat.

You’ll love this spiced version that’s packed with warm and comforting flavors. With a blend of cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom, this latte is a cozy treat that’s perfect for any day!

But what really sets this spiced matcha latte apart is the combination of flavors that come together in perfect harmony. The earthy and slightly bitter notes of matcha are complemented by the warmth of the spices, while a touch of honey adds just the right amount of sweetness.

And the best part? This latte is incredibly easy to make at home. All you need is some high-quality matcha powder, your favorite creamy milk (plant based or regular work!), and a few simple spices. Simply blend everything together until frothy, heat it up on the stove, and you’re set!

2 Tbsp collagen (code christine15)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground ginger

Pinch of ground cardamom

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

12 tsp honey (or maple syrup), to taste

1 cup nut milk (or milk of choice), I used creamy cashew milk and it was great!

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together matcha powder, cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom.
  2. Add vanilla extract, honey or maple syrup, and a splash of almond milk. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Heat the saucepan over medium heat, and gradually pour in the remaining almond milk while whisking constantly.
  4. Continue heating and whisking until the latte is hot and frothy.
  5. Pour the latte into a mug and enjoy!
  6. Note: You can adjust the amount of spices and sweetener to your liking. You can also use a milk frother/electric mixer to froth the latte for an extra creamy texture.
