The perfect sweet and crunchy snack, topping for salads, topping for yogurt, etc. It also makes a perfect gift for loved ones – just package in a cute food-safe box and wrap in a bow – give for Christmas, birthdays, etc.

Ingredients

2 rounded cups pecan halves (8 oz / 227g)

4 Tbsp salted grass-fed butter, melted (57g)

3 Tbsp pure maple syrup (63g)

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

A few pinches of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, toss pecans, butter, and salt. Spread out into one layer on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until fragrant and toasted.
  3. Allow to cool before serving. Keep in airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, the refrigerator for a month, or freeze for up to three months in a freezer-friendly container.
